Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Great journey for beginning video gamers, as well as excellent roll model for young women.   August 23, 2008
The graphics were great, I wish Kate would have been a bit more in depth, but The journey she took was neat, and I loved all the automatons! Great imagination!Syberia Saga Limited Edition (Win)

3 out of 5 stars It's An OK Game   January 16, 2008
Not a very exciting game...you are not missing anything by not playing it...ending not that great...

Easy to play though, puzzles are VERY easy...I'd say a good game for those just starting out playing RPG

4 out of 5 stars Bit predictable after a while   April 20, 2007

Scenery changes but the challenges are not very sophisticated. I've seen much older Nintendo games with greater variety of ways to solve situations

4 out of 5 stars Lovely and melancholy little game(s)   January 24, 2007

I bought this edition in a bargain bin from a retail store. Ordinarily, I shy away from adventure games due to their slow pace, but found this a pleasant surprise. The prerendered backgrounds are lush, there is great atmosphere at every turn, many of the characters you encounter are quirky and amusing, and there's a wistful, melancholy feel to the whole thing from start to finish.

This is the kind of game that is perfect for a quiet winter night and a glass of wine.

5 out of 5 stars Play them back-to-back for an ultimate adventure   January 2, 2007

I loved the original "Syberia". It's main character, Kate Walker and her sidekick, Oscar traveled to distant lands, unraveled many puzzles together and I was smitten. "Syberia" has an atmosphere like no other. While comparable to "The Longest Journey" in its spectacular character development, it still surpasses any other game with its unique locations. I originally played "Syberia" long before its highly-anticipated sequel was released and I regret that I could not play them back-to-back. I was longing for many years to revisit my favorite characters and continue the journey that so abruptly ends with a "cliffhanger" at the end of the original game. Now, one can purchase both games and play them continuously and have an extension to the fun factor. Treat the saga like one long game, not two. The games are designed to be played continuously to continue Kate Walker's exploration of intricate scenery and exciting new paths. To date, this is the best character-devoted adventure game I have played. Before the sequel was released, I would have voted "The Longest Journey" as my favorite, but together, "Syberia" and "Syberia II" surpass any other.
