Good accessory for Wii November 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Chargers work great. Cooling Fan is a little noisy... but well worth extending the life of your Wii!
Batteries die immediately and customer service sucks November 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this item in the hopes of not having to use batteries, however, the rechargable batteries quickly die and do not hold a charge. I have returned the product to intec once and finally received a new one. One of the batteries never worked and now (approx. a month later) the other is almost dead. In addition, I immediately contacted intec and they are now referring me to their Canadian customer service. I say do not by a product from intec.
Batteries die after a few months October 19, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I've owned this unit for a few months now and I play with my wii console on and off. I haven't used the console for a month now and wanted to power the console up and play a game. To my disappointment the rechargeable batteries will no longer keep a charge of longer than a few minutes.
I don't know whether I was supposed to always remove them from the charging station after the led's indicated that a full charge was complete, but most re-charging stations these days have a built in off-switch so as not to over-charge the batteries. I'm guessing this unit doesn't have this feature and that's how the batteries died.
The design itself is annoying as well, since there is a constant noisy fan running while this unit is plugged in. the only way to turn off the fan is to unplug the unit.
I would not recommend this product and i'm searching for a better replacement.
Wii Dual Charge Station October 18, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
The straps get in the way of recharging the handsets. Only one of my handsets will recharge. The other one has never recharged or worked right. This was not worth the money.
As a charger, great. Makes too much noise October 10, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this hoping it would solve the never ending search for batteries in my house. However, now I have a battery charger that I hardly use because the "cooling system" fan is so loud. Get a standalone charger that doesn't include inserting the Wii. It looks cool, but sounds awful.
